Advanced medical station unit

The advanced medical station is a functional unit designed to deal with an influx of victims, as part of a departmental ORSEC plan (French emergency plan). It allows victims to be grouped in large numbers in order to, depending on the scale of the situation, receive and house them or identify, register, sort, provide emergency care and then transfer them to other established medical facilities.
